We installed switch roller devices manufactured by German company CDP Bhart Forge on Latvian Railway turnouts. The operation of several problem turnouts improved significantly following the installation of the switch roller devices. Since the use of switch roller devices allows for significant savings on maintenance costs for turnouts, Latvian Railway has been using CDP switch roller devices since spring 2016 as the standard solution on all new turnouts.
